Thank you Annie of Blue Gables for posting this wonderful tutorial on how to make a receiving blanket with mitered corners. I have made a few baby quilts in the past few months, but none were as fun to make as this one. I now want to expand my "new knowledge" of mitered corners and see what else I can make.
That is just lovely. Good JOB! My daughter is making larger blankets with this same method. She wants to make them for the big-boy bed when her little 3-year old graduates.
I haven't done this with a pieced front, that looks great.
I usually embroider the name of the child on a corner. (I blanked it out to protect the baby's identity)
