I have been making sock monkeys for over a year now, I'm guessing that I've made close to 100 monkeys for friends, family and have sold some too. Jonah was my first sock monkey and is by far my favorite, he has a sweet personality and travels well. Mahala took the longest to make, I lost track of how many hours I put into her, but she now sits proudly in our living room. My latest monkey is actually very simple, back to the basics, no tattoo or wild hair. Just a simple, lovable sock monkey. This little guy was made for a new born baby, so for safety he does not have the standard button eyes, his eyes are embroidered.
